This house has a refined sophistication that I simply love. Just look how those gorgeous pendants shine against the clean white cabinets!
New Layout, New Paint
Our favorite contractor, Jim Ferrell, of Fine Line Construction removed the bulky peninsula and built new cabinets on the opposite wall. This new layout opens up the entire kitchen while maximizing the storage and counter space. A fresh coat of paint bring this new layout together.
This kitchen was painted in a creamy off-white with a brown pinstripe glaze on the doors. The new look created a cozy and charming space.
Bye Bye Yellow
These thermofoil cabinets had yellowed over the years. With proper prep work thermofoil cabinets in good condition can be painted. We used a bright clean white and said bye bye to yellow. We will share additional photos once the clients finish their kitchen reno with new appliances and countertops.
A Touch of Gray
We used a bright off white for the cabinets and island in this kitchen. We added a touch of gray by heavy pinstriping glaze on the doors. The gray glaze complimented the countertops and coordinated with the gray walls in the adjacent family room.
Painting these vanities created the visual appearance of a much larger bathroom. The oil rubbed bronze hardware tied the light cream paint to the new granite.
All in the Frame
I LOVE it when we are able to find cost effective solutions to a client's design dilemma. The client wanted a bit of detailing on the back of their peninsula. I suggested installing pre-fab frames prior to us painting. The end result is gorgeous with very minimal cost!
